Ready to start college confident, prepared, and already understanding how engineering works—not overwhelmed, confused, and trying to keep up?
This program gives you a real head start and the competitive edge most students wish they had.

Most students don’t realize this about electrical engineering until it’s too late.
If you're planning to study electrical engineering…
You’re expected to walk into your first semester and somehow:
And when you don’t?
You start to feel behind.
You start questioning if you’re “smart enough.”
And suddenly… one of the most exciting career paths starts to feel overwhelming.
But here’s the truth:
It’s not you.
It’s how you’re being taught.
Most universities start with theory.
Equations.
Abstract concepts that don’t feel real.
But the students who actually succeed?
They understand how things work first.
They see it.
They build it.
They get it.
Inside this program, you’ll learn core concepts like logic gates and memory systems (ROM)—the same fundamentals behind real technology.
But more importantly, you won’t just learn them...you’ll actually use them to build your own projects and designs.
For example, you could build something like a shot clock (if you’re into basketball)—taking what you learn and turning it into something real, functional, and uniquely yours.
You’ll learn how to troubleshoot systems, identify what’s not working, and confidently solve problems—just like real engineers do.
Because in electrical engineering, things don’t always work the first time…and knowing how to fix them is one of the most important skills you can have.
You’ll learn core concepts like the logic gate and actually build your own working demonstrations—so you don’t just memorize the theory, you truly understand how it works.
So when these topics show up in your first college courses, you’re not trying to keep up—you’re already ahead.
A 6-week hands-on experiencial program designed to take you from:
“I hope I can keep up…”
to “I already understand this.”
Before you even step into your first college class.
This isn’t another boring prep course.
You won’t just watch videos or memorize definitions.
You will:
In just 6 weeks, you’ll go from not knowing how circuits work → to confidently building and understanding real electronic systems.

6-Week Core Program + 2 Bonus Weeks (8 Weeks Total)
Cohort 1 (Early Start): June 2nd – July 23rd
Cohort 2: June 23rd – August 13th
By the end of this program, you won’t feel overwhelmed by abstract concepts like logic gates, binary systems, or circuit design—you’ll actually understand how they work and how to apply them.
You’ll feel like someone who:
✔ Understands core electrical engineering concepts instead of just memorizing them
✔ Can break down and think through problems step-by-step
✔ Has hands-on experience building real circuits using the DEB
✔ Recognizes how these concepts show up in real technology (like computers and devices)
✔ Walks into college with confidence—already ahead of most students
This is NOT for you if:
Most students don’t realize they’re behind…
Until it’s too late.
The ones who succeed?
They prepared before their first semester.

This isn’t just learning—it’s doing.
Using the Digital Evaluation Board (DEB), students get a portable, hands-on lab they can use anywhere to build and test real circuits.
Each week, you’ll move from foundational concepts like logic gates to more advanced systems like adders, decoders, and multiplexers.
What makes this unique is that you’re not waiting until college to get lab experience—you’re already doing the work.
By the time you step into your first engineering class, you’ll already understand the core concepts most students are seeing for the first time.
This means you’ll walk in with confidence, hands-on experience, and a level of understanding that sets you apart from day one.

Success in engineering isn’t just about technical skills—it’s about knowing how to navigate the path ahead.
Each week, you’ll learn how to choose your path within electrical engineering, stand out for internships (even without a perfect GPA), and position yourself for long-term success.
You’ll also gain insight most students don’t discover until it’s too late—like how to network effectively, avoid common academic pitfalls, and start thinking about your career before you even step on campus.
What makes this unique is that you’re getting real-world guidance from someone with both industry and teaching experience—not generic advice.
By the time you start college, you won’t just be prepared—you’ll already have a clear plan and a competitive edge.
About Dr. Oren Gall
Dr. Oren Gall is an electrical engineer, educator, and mentor with over 20 years of industry experience and more than a decade of teaching at the university level, including at Penn State.
Throughout his career, he’s seen a pattern:
Brilliant, capable students entering engineering… only to feel overwhelmed, confused, and unsure of themselves within their first year.
Not because they weren’t smart enough but because they were never taught how to truly understand engineering.
That’s why Dr. Gall is passionate about changing the way students learn.
His approach is simple but powerful:start with understanding, not memorization. Build first, then connect the theory.
Instead of overwhelming students with abstract concepts, he teaches them how things actually work—through hands-on learning, real-world applications, and clear, intuitive explanations.
The result?
Students don’t just “get by”—they gain confidence, clarity, and a real edge before they even step into their first college class.
Through the Electrical Engineering Jump Start Program, Dr. Gall is on a mission to help the next generation of engineers start strong, think differently, and succeed faster.
