Who We Are
The DEB was created to serve the kind of people who want to be thriving students: people who want to learn what isn’t taught in a book or classroom. It is a tool that provides the opportunity to explore engineering through hands-on experiences. Schools often rely on a physical lab space, which is not always available or accessible and loaded with expensive equipment. Overall, this can limit student understanding of complex engineering concepts to theory alone. Sometimes this makes people feel like they’ve only learned enough to pass an exam but not to thrive in a future career. We believe that studying and learning should not be just something for the books, pencils, and papers, but should be a fun and interactive process.
